Burn my eyes out with acid

Last night I went to Gloria's to eat. It's a little South American place in Dallas. For some unknown reason, they have about 8 televisions in the restaurant, all tuned to FOX News with the subtitles turned on. Now, I despise FOX News. It's nothing but extreme right-wing propaganda. Unfortunately, when it's on TV, it has the same effect as seeing a car wreck. I can't help but look. What infuriated me last night was their coverage of King George's coronation. Specifically, their coverage of the protests. First, they find the most fucked-up, drugged-out protestors on the planet to interview. The interviews typically went along the lines of "yeah, man, I hate George Bush, man, cuz he kills people, man". I mean come the fuck on. FOX News viewers already have a warped enough perception of what the opposition is. Oh, and FOX specifically stated "Thousands of supporters and some protestors gathered today to watch the inauguration...." Well I may have been mistaken, but from what I saw on CSPAN2 and have read just about everywhere else, "THOUSANDS of PROTESTORS and SOME SUPPORTERS" would have been the correct wording.

FOX News. We distort, you comply. Get off the fucking air.
